Hi, I'm Wendy. I am the founder of Wendy's Journal and Wendy's Global English project.
Initially, I came up with the idea of starting this journal as way to share my personal life's journey with interested readers.
But, later, I decided to include information and updates related to my Wendy's Global English project - a project which started out as a hobby - which hopefully will turn into a big project that will benefit many English speakers from around the world.
I used to be a nurse as well as a care worker but decided to pursue my love for English language via brushing up my English skills and acquiring more English language related certifications.
Besides my interests in reading and writing, I am also interested in working on my freelance online project - Wendy's Global English - founded in December 2024 - due to my passion for English language as well as my interest in connecting with English speakers from around the world.
A bit about my Wendy's Global English
It is mostly about exploring the importance or significance of Global English in our personal lives, professional lives, communities, as well as the wider world around us.
For more information or more updates about my Wendy's Global English project - please check out the latest blog page via Wendy's Journal.
A bit about myself.
My love for English language has led me to acquire four major TEFL related certifications and four minor TEFL related certifications, besides my Certificate in General Nursing and other advanced courses in English language.
I love nature, reading and exploring the world via reading and travelling.
I love learning new things and exploring new projects that could improve the quality of our lives.
I hope to continue working on my Wendy's Global English online project via blogging about it via my Wendy's journal.
Wendy's Journal is also a space for me to express myself authentically and to connect with a community of like-minded individuals.
I also hope to fine tune my writing skills as I ponder on my next journey.
I used to work as a nurse in SEA as well as a carer in UK.
I used to teach English to young learners in SEA.
I am presently based in SEA.
This is a sketch of me pondering on my next journey.
