About Myself

Hi, I'm Wendy.

I am the creator of Wendy's Journal and founder of Wendy's Global English.

I am originally from South East Asia.

I discovered the many sounds of English since very young.

I have a special affinity with the printed text of English language since young.

Beyond my passion for reading and writing, I am truly dedicated to advancing the diverse goals of Wendy's Global English, which I founded in December 2024. This initiative reflects my love for the English language and my ambition to connect with English speakers from around the globe.

Wendy's Global English delves into the vital role of Global English in shaping our personal lives, advancing our careers, strengthening our communication skills, and impacting the world at large.

My love for English language has led me to acquire four major TEFL related certifications and numerous other minor TEFL related certifications, besides my Certificate in General Nursing and other advanced courses in English language.

I love a minimalist lifestyle.

I love nature, reading and exploring new opportunities that could improve the quality of my life.

I have a passion for learning new things, exploring new places, and seeking out opportunities that enhance my quality of life. I also enjoy connecting with diverse individuals from a variety of backgrounds. Building relationships through conversation and shared experiences deepens my understanding of the world and nurtures a sense of community and belonging.

I believe that every person has a unique story to share. By engaging with others, I gain valuable insights and perspectives that contribute to my personal growth and make my journey through life more enriching.

Wendy's Journal is a space for me to express myself, share our learning journey via Global English and to connect with a community of like-minded individuals.

I used to work as a nurse in SEA as well as a carer in UK.

I enjoy creating lessons and teaching English to young learners whenever possible.

I am presently based in SEA.
